The Ruth Lester room is cozy and welcoming, with a clawfoot tub for luxurious baths. As a light sleeper, the peaceful atmosphere and comfortable bed made for a serene stay.
Trains whistling at night; managed to sleep through it on the second night.

It was reasonably priced, compared to other small hotels. We appreciated their delicious and absolutely superb breakfast with a world class chef, hashbrowns, natural local products. The staff was really helpful and very welcoming and the owner too. The hotel had incredible location right by Jefferson, Texas, and town center.
